Spofforth Golf Course will close temporaily at the end of October to allow essential drainage and irrigation improvements to be planned and carried out. Following the challenges of waterlogging last winter and the need for more sustainable irrigation, these works are vital to securing the future of the course.
We understand this will be disappointing and inconvenient for our customers, and the decision has not been taken lightly. We will keep youo updated as plans progress, including developments regarding our proposed clubhouse and additional facilities.
We remain committed to providing a pay and play golf course at Spofforth and thank you all for your continued support and understanding.
Our current play offering is 8, 13 or 17 holes with a new course layout. This change is temporary.
Our course opening hours are 7.30am – 6.30pm and our gates lock automatically at 7pm with a £50 release fee if we have to send out staff to unlock the gates.
Best Regards
Spofforth Golf Management
